[s-cars] In Other News...

Gentlemen,
I have had both cars. I had a 01 S4TT Stage2 ABT 1 BAR chip, Cat Back Borla Exhaust, and UUC SS 30% and now I have a 92 UrS4 (MTM Stage 1+ previously) now running the ASW 2.5 Bar software with SS full exhaust and 7A cam.
The raw numbers of the S4TT Stage II put the HP around 320HP and 380Ft/lbs of torque on a Stage II (Cat Back). With the UrS4 we are looking at about 280-290HP and around 300Ft/lbs of torque with Stage II setup w/ Full Exhaust.

With the UrS weighing in at 3840lbs and the new S4TT weighing in at 3585lbs. I would think the neu S4 would have the advantage assuming equal drivers both driving a manual transmission.

Being a previous owner of a neu S4 the ass dyno of two equal Stage II set-ups tells me that the 2.7TT is faster....but a true test would be side by side comparison...might be more interesting then my "arse" dyno tells me ;-)

Fellas,

I also was dissapointed in the S4tts, I was close to buying one, but ended
up with the '95 S6. They are suprisingly slow, a while back I was driving my
buddy's '00 GTI VR6 with a 6 speed, and was able to keep up with one, which
was not chipped. And the VR6 is a peppy car, but not truly fast. My S6 stock
would pull significantly on both the 6 speed Golf and the S4tt. Glad I
didn't waste the extra money!!
