Ever think the guy could have been in the wrong gear and caught
off-boost?

I had a hard time losing a Saturn L200, but that was cruising at 60
and letting him get all the way to my rear bumper before downshifting
to 3rd, he got to my B-pillar before I pulled on him.

VR6 VWs are slow compared to the 200q20v, UrS, S4tt, etc.

I'm sure I could pull on a Z06 if he was cruising in 6th and I
was in 3rd at WOT.

We did not race from a stop, it was probably from 50-90mph. Two people
in
the GTI with 18" BBS. And the S4tt did have a BIG problem destroying the

GTI, remember the S4tt was completely stock. I'm not saying that a
chipped
or otherwise modified S4 would not beat a GTI, but this stock one S4 was
not
able to beat a slightly modified GTI. Just the facts...
