[s-cars] Useful supplier bashing

I think this message needs to be posted to the lists every month or so, just
to inform any potential new members. I had a 200 20v with a TAP chip that
was fast as shit, but not very smooth. The thing about TAP is that their
software is pirated, so you never know what you might have. I purchased a
RS2 turbo from them, and a bypass valve, which IMO created a pressure spike
and bent some vanes on the cold side impeller. I sent it (the turbo) back to
them, their response was that I overboosted the turbo. How could I overboost
the turbo using their sorfware???  I got the turbo back from them and sent
it to TEC. TAP did refund the price of the bypass valve, but I still paid
$3-400 for a turbo rebuild. Shitty. Now I only use Keith Anderson for
performance parts (Lehmann Stage 3+, RS2 manifold, 6 speed) and a local
speed shop for installs (custom IC, etc).
