[s-cars] crazy fuel gauge

bob,

the owner's manual sitting in my '92 is for a '93 S4.  it says so on the
front.  on page 179, the fuel tank capacity is listed as 21.1 gallons.
i also looked at my fuel log (yes i can be anal sometimes) and the most
i've put into the tank at once is 19.4 gallons.  that's as far down as
i dare to go, since by that time the fuel gauge is pointing to less than
empty.
