Paul-
You've never driven a 350Z, G35 or G35 coupe, then.

Those engines RIP! Very nice sounding, very torquey,
very smooth power delivery.

I never said "Maxima," I said VQ engine.

:-)

BTW, Maxima 3.5s are quite quick- accidentally did a
"Fast and the Furious" type burnout across an intersection
in one, tire smoke and all. (It was a slushbox)

Sorry Paul-
IMHO, the VQ series Nissan/Infiniti V6s are one of the nicest V6 engines
I've experienced personally.

Hmmmmm... iMho, I couldn't disagree more. Yes, the Nismo motor is
highly acclaimed and touted, award winning, etc. But, driving say, a
3.5 Maxima or whatever, vs the 2.8 VR6, it 'taint the same. Nope. The
"feel" isn't there, the "sound" isn't there, and it just doesn't seem as
dynamic. Hmmm... dare I say that's a J car trait inherently? It might
be "better", but "better" isn't always BETTER.

Again, iMho, or is that imHo...
