Not too many race cars bigger than an Avant.  Here are my results, amongst
everyone elses, from the Sept. Alfa Road America event.  Draw your own
conclusions.  Not the best, not the worst and I still drove it home.

Could only be better IME due to:
Total rookie driver.
All season tires.
No 6 speed.
No coilovers/happersized sway bar.

The starters/officials & a few other participants etc. were seemingly pleased
to see a "horse of a different feather" out there running.  While waiting for
one run a couple O fatherland dudes inquired as to how much boost I was
running.  When I told them 27psi, their gonads practically came out their
ears.  "no no keep it below 17."
"Yeah well whatever."
That second gear out of turn 14 Stromung stereo blast through the gears, up
the straightaway to 125-130mph still plays in my head:-)
Yeahess!
RA being about a 4 mile course IIRC, I think a skilled driver with the
aforementioned parts could have been dern near the top.
So, it's not the best race car, but the RA drivers ed course has given me
clues to its' limits and greatly enhanced the daily commute.
BTW it can still haul a bunch of crap or the family of 6 too:)
