Clutch pedal sounds like one of the two seals in the clutch master cylindar
has failed.

Dieing at idle, in my case, was caused by a bad MAF (mass airflow sensor,
$500?) or it could have been a loose ground wire (back side of valve
cover)which I wasn't able to determine since the dealer didn't return the MAF
as requested. The car ran reasonable despite the bad MAF (I was a new owner at
the time)

Missing on acceleration?? I haven't suffered this one but would look for oil
in the plug cavity, deteriorated boots, then bad coils.
