Hi Rob,
not sure...so don't quote me...but I don't think the sunroof is "timed". Ch=
eck your rotary switch, the contacts are either loose of the interior resis=
tance tracks are dirty thus giving a false indication of what location the =
panel should be in. I had this problem with mine, and by fiddling with the =
switch the sunroof would open or close. I took the swtich apart (ever so ca=
refully...) and cleaned the rotating contacts and resoldered the wires, nev=
er had a problem since. I've never heard of this timing thing? maybe others=
have.
