S-gruppees:  I agree with Feico regarding the S-car design engineers not wanting us (you) to run out of fuel and potentially burning out the otherwise fuel-cooled pumps.  If your fuel gauge and autocheck systems are functioning correctly, the dash display will put up the little gas station pump symbol when you have 15 litres left in the tank (I know this as I have "tested" the systems on several occasions).  Why push the "envelope" and see how far you can go before you need to phone AAA?  Anyway, you probably need a "pit" stop because of all the coffee/energy drinks that you have been quaffing. Stop. Fill up. Stretch. And then GO again!
