[s-cars] crazy fuel gauge

I was advised years ago by a very experianced audi tech with my 200 to not
take the level below 1/4. Hard on the fuel pump. I still practice this today
with the S6. I have never put more than 16ish gallons in at fillups.
Overkill? maybe. Guess I ought to get some stainless lines on my oil cooler!
