[s-cars] Anyone ever use 944 Turbo calipers on an S6?

I'd have to go with Keith on this one, Paul. There
are a lot of big red kits out there, 993 based, 996
based, and we all know that they all vary a little
bit, but here's my input...
Changing pads on the 993 caliper is just plain simple.
I have never done a 996-based pad swap or seen one,
but on the 993, once you undo that clip, pads slide
right out, you compress the piston and new pads go in.
Hell, it's so easy, even a wet behind the ears kid
like myself figured it out. I like Tom's Stage III,
but maybe that's just because what's on my car. As
far as rotors, I figure if you're spending the money
on new ones, might as well get the biggest ones you
can and that's why I got the 993TT/993TT setup.
Ultimately, it's your dough, but I don't ever recall
fading these brakes or even coming close.

Oh, and they do grip like a horny prom date.
