The Apexi AVC-R (I think the name is) adjusts the duty cycle to attain
the preprogrammed boost vs. rpm and gear. The duty cycle it first
applies in anticipation of the proper boost is learned from past
experience. Thus, the duty cycle varies over the seasons.
