Rod,

SJ is right on with all of comments regarding clutches and 1/4 mile runs. I
am on clutch number "quattro" in my A4.

I am using an aluminum flywheel, a six puck kevlar/ceramic composite disc,
and a Sachs race engineering pressure plate. You need the leg of a gorilla to
push the pedal in. It makes an S4 pedal feel like butter. But you'll need it
if you are going to run sub 1.8 second 60' times.

SJ also recommended very light wheels, which I also agree with. I also
recommend skinny tires (like 65 series) to insure some wheel spin at a sticky
track. The wheelspin will help prevent parts breakage as well. If you haven't
already, put a torsen in the rear diff from a V8Q.

Try southbendclutch.com they will do a nice set up for around $500.00. Ask
for Eddie. You'll want to save some money for the next iteration.

Richard
