I run the Stromung without a cat for a reason: It's
audible. Ever since putting the system in, I have
reduced my In Car Entertainment budget to nothing more
than buying a few CD's once in a while. I don't
listen to the radio anymore, I just open up a window
and take in the cacophany that is my car:
The squeal and squeak of the Pagid Oranges
The hum (not quite a scream yet, but give me time) of
the exhaust note
The whirr of the turbo and the relief of the BPV.
I don't know, call me crazy, but I like the louder
exhaust, it may drone a bit, but I prefer that over
quiet pipes any day, ticket or no ticket.
But then again, I'm just a kid, what the hell do I
know? :-)
Mike, if I were you, save the money for a 3" setup.
It's worth it.

Halejuiah! Can I get an AMEN here? AMEN! NOTHING like listening to that
CACOPHONY (perfect word choice, Joe, my favorite term to describe it all).
All the talk about booming stereos, etc. kills me. I gots me the best sound
system I've ever had, and it's powered by 93 octane.

However, Joe, even you must admit there's 100% difference between "sound"
and "noise". The latter being all too common and the former being all to
commonly confused by the ignorant for the latter.
