I'm considering going to LED 1156 and 1157 lights. I know they're long
lasting, run cool, illuminate instantly, and are bright as hell. The
downside I have heard is that they need to be viewed head-on and that due to
lousy side dispersion do not fill up the lens assemblies as well as
incandescents.

I am considering these (http://www.wixtools.com/html/ultraleds.html), as
they have side-firing LEDs and seem to fix the problem. Anyone have any
experience?
