It will depend on what format of audio data you choose, e.g. .cda, .mp3,
.wav, plus what media types are compatible with your CD player. Older
CD players won't know .mp3 files from a core dump, but should play
a properly built CD containing .cda files. (if it reads the media)

Nero Burning ROM (Ahead Software) will allow you to compile any type of
CD using their CD wizard. It's by far the best CD or DVD burning
software
in the market today.

You'll need to experiment.
