Joern (and S-gruppees): I can't speak for the US but here in Canada (eh?), those with an Air Care system have to meet the current standards for their model year. However, the "System" seems to be ratcheting the limits downwards, i.e. as they see most of the cars of a given model and year are making the existing standards, they lower the upper limits and tighten-up the standards. Is this a Joseph Heller book? (Catch 22??). Anyway, there are standards that have to be met. I try. Except when they tell me I failed by 0.001 ppm (they don't recognize machine errors) - then I swap cams in and out. No, sorry, that was my "friend". Not me.

One thing that can be a difference on our side is that if the car is a 95
model it should pass the limits given in the same year, not the limits given
for 2002 model cars. Is that the same in the US?

Best reg Joern, MTM RS
