I have burned a bunch of CDR's and had no problems.  As long as it is
closed properly and written properly it should work.  Stock stereo with
factory disk changer in a 93 S4.

I seem to remember some comments A While Back regarding the brand and
quality of the blank media having a profound impact. Have you tried more
