[s-cars] starting problem

Sounds like a fuel pump to me...possibly. I had the exact same behavior on my 92. To test you can disconnect the fuel filter line-in and try to start it and see if fuel is coming out. Be very careful that the car engine is COLD as you don't want any fires. Maybe put a rag right there to catch any fuel. You could also remove the spare tire and have someone listen while you try to turn it over to hear the fuel pump. If you hear it struggling try to take rubber mallet hammer to the bottom of the gas tank to see if that frees up the pump.

Good Luck

Subject: [s-cars] starting problem

All of a sudden my S6 is beginning to have starting problems.
Most of the time when I turn the ignition it starts right up.
But lately (last few days) when I turn the ignition the engine turns but the car will not actually start.
If I stop and wait a few minutes (which seems like an eternity) and then try the ignition again it starts right up.

Anyone have ideas of what is happening?
