Thanks for the kudos Bob.
It's true Stromung can imporve that downpipe for RS2 and further S cars. Th=
at's pretty easy. I have a sample downpipe pipe now to use as a mockup. Bet=
ter stainless, wider aperture, imporved wastegate pipe location, all part o=
f the next gen system. Beta sample due in the winter time.
The twin pipe system will need a fitment car in So Cal. Bob has a great des=
ign worked out, but I gotta tell you. Pastore pricing is tough to beat. At =
least Stromung can achieve the repeatability of a jigged setup.
Plus Bob clooged his single cat. So a dual should handle the load for the R=
S2 equipped rocket.
More later.

Pros:
1) The service at Stromung has been great, especially with our man Jeff
Posto.
2) Nice looking system.
3) Uses Excellent Magnaflow mufflers
3) Great at price point for k24 cars.
Cons:
1) Questionable whether system outflows stock system. Single 3" has less
flow area than two(stock) 2 1/4" pipes. I'll let the engineers calculate
whether the reduced surface friction of a single 3" pipe more than
compensates for the greater area of twin 2 1/4" pipes. My butt dyno doesn't
feel an improvement.
2) I don't think single 3" cat will outflow twin OEM cats.
3) Some clearance issues with system banging under load.
4) With track use ( especially on rs2 turbo equipped cars) there have
several instances of a cracked weld on the downpipe to tube joint.
I'd really like to see Stromung develop a better downpipe and a twin 2 1/2"
system for those of us who are beyond stage 1+.

IMO the Stromung is one of the highest quality, best fitting, best looking
aftermarket exhaust systems I have seen. I wish mine was free, but I had no
problem paying over a grand for it!
