OK,
So I am pretty sure that it was not an LT1 bc no hood scoop was present.
And Calvin, you are right, the car took off like it had an additional 100hp
kick. Though I could be wrong, I don't think he was playing with me. We did
run from about 50mph to 135mph and he was +/- 1/2 car length behind me until
the very end. Also I would gain/lose ground on him depending on where each
of us were in our respective power bands and gears. I have the limiter
disconnected and I was still pulling, but slowly. I think he had just had
enough and wanted to do away with me b4 we caught traffic, so he flipped the
giggle trigger. I really don't think any sub-super car could accelerate
that quickly at that speed w/o a little chemical incentive. Or, maybe I'm
just concocting a self-satisfying fairy tale ending?
Anyway, I have to sign up for some type of warranty so I can get a RS2 setup
;-)
