Ian,
Ditto Igor's fine complements WRT the remote.  I too had thought about
trying figure this out but usually gave up once I got one remote workin
as I only use one at a time anyway.  But this of course was not
perfection.
I would bet big $$ that if you called Audi USA tech support, they would
have no idea of this procedure.
