There is just a green light in the rear diff area of the pictograph and a
yellow triangle in the button itself that light up when you engage the rear
diff. The center torsen is a passive system so no indicators for that, and
the front is an open diff. Other than that there are a couple of bulbs to
light up the pictograph itself when the parking lights are turned on.

I don't really have a lot of seat time in other UrS4/6 cars to know what the
proper clutch engagement stiffness should be, but if you found this to be
easier than others you've tried then that is a good thing. Usually a stiff
clutch is indicative of a pressure plate starting to go. I've driven a
couple of A4s and they are definitely much lighter and the engagement point
is way too high. Non of the S6s I've driven have been as light as the A4
clutch.

All these items were phased in independently of each other. The early '95s
like mine, build date 9/94, had the regular 4-spoke steering wheel and the
5-spoke forged wheels from the '92-'94 UrS4. Somewhere around 10/94 -11/94
they phased in the 3-spoke sport steering wheel and still had the 5-spoke
wheels. I think the Avus wheels finally starting showing up around 12/94 -
1/95 timeframe, possibly along with the chrome ringed gauges. The 95.5
models were really '96s in disguise and they were built starting 7/95. This
is for North American cars. Euro market cars are a whole 'nother story.
You could get the Avus wheels on the UrS4 for example.

Non of the cars came with full size spares in that period, though they do
fit.

Haven't heard a lot of good things about the TAP chip but I'll let someone
that has had experience with both chime in.
