They are in East Hartford, CT. My limitied experience with them concerned a
warranty item issue years ago on a 5000CS. Not going into details, but it
ended with a service manager cursing me over the phone, calling me a liar
and threatining to sue me. Won't go any further, as I'm feeling my blood
pressure rise just recalling the incident. In short, I wouldn't take my cars
there if they were the last mechanics on earth. They are a rip off for parts
also. Don't know what his options are, but wish him good luck. For future
reference, try out Valley Auto in Canton, for future work on his car.

Ah, good 'ole Scoffman Audi. HMmmm... I can see their rooftop about 1.3
miles out my office window here. So, wants me to go's breaks some legs?
Yeah, I'm huge.

Jim Berube is one of the better service advisors there, maybe he can offer
some inside advice. I know a couple of the wrenches there on the Saab /
Porsche side, I could try sniffing around and see "what they know". Tell
Rich he's free to call / email me, we'll try and mount a more weighted
assault.

Otherwise, what Bruce said before is true. Car worked fine going in, it's
their problem. Hell, I'm actually JEALOUS they didn't MUFF UP my car!
Heck, I could always use a nice clean spankin new motor for free...
