Wow, this is a dream scenario!
I've never dealt with a serious Audi tuner/builder, but I've seen several
out there that will do head/piston exchanges as part of their total RS2 (or
similar) conversions, for in the neighborhood of $6-7K, including head,
pistons, EM, RS2 turbo, injectors & ECU  (a cheap way out for the
dealership). I realize that this prolly assumes that the head being
exchanged is in working order, but that doesn't seem to be YOUR problem now
Rich.
