I borrowed the compression tool from a friend at work, so I wanted to check=
the health of my car. I would assume that if the compression test shows go=
od results that there is no need for a leak down test? I always considered =
a leak down test the second step to identifying the source of the problem w=
hile the compression test mearly says you have a problem. True/False?

A compression test is o.k. to see if the motor is still alive, but if
you want some good info on what may be wrong with the motor I would do a
leak down test. This is especially useful if you are purchasing a used
car. It can give a decent indication of the condition of the rings and
	valves.

Does a compression test need to be done while the engine is warm? Or can
	it be done while cold?

I did one while the engine was cold and got a fairly consistant 11 or
11.5 bar on all 5 cylinders. Specifications are between 9 Bar and 13 Bar
and the wear limit is supposed to be 7 Bar, while max difference between
	cylinders is 3 Bar.

Just wondering if I need to re-run the test to ensure I got valid data?

	Cheers, /James
