I had explored 6 speeds with them a month or two ago and came up with
something for $2100 or so.  I forget exactly which flavor but not seeking to
stock my basement with parts, decided to wait till I was really ready to do
the install as I didnt wanna buy it and let it sit fo 6 months then tell
them it doesnt work. I would also install new clutch & flywheel etc.. you
know how it goes..
But wouldn't $1,000 be a good price point to simply add gears to an already
good 95.5, 5 speed if there is such a kit available?
I suppose when I have time I'll call and inquire.

Overland is wholesale only, so very few of us actually can get in the door,
or know for a fact that the connections we do have aren't using Overland as
a supplier.   The transmission story is true.

Not to defend them (I have no direct access there), but they have some
amazing contacts and often come up with stuff that's NLA anywhere else ---
Blau's late 3 bar sensor supply, CD changers a few years ago,   etc.

And Eurospecsport (overland division) has some very interesting and exciting
mods and performance parts that nobody else has.  I think Javad could tell
us more about the good and bad of Overland than anyone else.

Gents,

IMO stay away from Overland. I've heard of them sending out multiple niosy
trannys, they always took them as a return, but there's the lost labor of
installing/uninstalling.
