Yes, you must of also felt that spending another $3.5K on the 200 must of
been worth it too.
I would also guess that much of the cost is dependent of mileage of the car
and how it's been treated. So finding a good 200 vs. a poor S4/S6 could
still cost you way more in repairs.
Not that you don't already know any of this...

Having just spent $3400 on repairs for my wife's '91 200 I can relate to the
repair cost. UFOs alone were $466.
