You've got that right baby! Density altitude on a 60 degree F. day here at
8000 ft in Evergreen gives you 10,000 ft. This is of course the big reason to
own a turbocharged car at higher altitudes of life;-) Density altitude in
Denver during this hot summer of ours were running above 9000ft for 100
degree days. Here in Evergreen our 90 degree days had density altitudes above
12000 ft.
