Sounds like the afterrun coolant pump to me. You can
get them at the parts bin cheap; about $89. Listed
under auxilary water pump. Theres a nice pic there
too.

Just did mine a few months back. Same problem as
yours. Took about 20 minutes to replace. I have heard
of no way to repair these.
