If you want 5.0 bar fp, instead of a "crushed" 4.0 bar unit, why not
install a 5.0 bar unit, bosch # B 280550113? A far more elegant
solution, no?
Speaking of, now that I have 3.8 (thanks Mr. Disk!!), 4.0, and 5.0
factory style Bosch FPRs, does anyone have a part number for a 4.5 bar
unit? Not sure if it exists, but I can't get enough of those FPRs, and
I'd rather end up with a factory look once I decide on the apropriate FP
(would rather not run an AFPR).
Speaking of Bosch, I priced out the RS2 MAF from a Bosch distributor at
~$220. If you have the means, this would be the way to go. Oddly, I
wasn't able to get RS2 injectors from them based on the Bosch number.

Frank!
My car has a "crushed" FPR(with the 4,0barg markings on it) from MTM in order
to hold 5,0barg in the fuel system as static pressure.(RS2MAF and RS2
Injectors giving 465cc/min or 44,26 lbs/hr)
I have tested the fuelpressure-rise against boost pressure, and whatever the
rise of the boost pressure is, the rise of the fuelpressure is the same.
Meaning if I run 1,0 barg boost, the fuelpressure is 5,0 + 1,0barg equal 6,0
barg total.
In Europe when going with big MAF and Injectors, the fuelpump that goes with
these kits are a minimum of 80 litres/hour@ 8,0barg pump pressure
