[s-cars] euro lenses

E Code / Euro lenses are stamped with a circled upper case E in the
corner.

They also do not have a rectangular window on the inboard side which the
DOT unit does have for viewing the bubble level indicator on the DOT
housings.

Lo beam and fog portions of the lens are essentially identical. The
biggest difference (outside of the bubble level indicator window) is the
amount of fluting on the hi beam portion. Now pay attention son:

E Code: ~13 vertical flutes. That is it! You should be able to easily
see the bulb thorugh the fluting.

DOT: tons of vertical and horizontal flutes, almost looks like a
checkerboard. Very difficult to see through.

To the best of my knowledge, the DOT lenses (or HL covers, in deference
to Igor) were never available on a stand-alone basis.

Not sure what the Canucks got, as I know there housings were hybrids
with H1 highs (not DOT!) paired with 900X lows (not E Code). So there
lenses may be different too.

As you have surmised from the above, the E COde lenses do nothing to
improve your lows or fogs, except for being newer / less pitted.
