[s-cars] NYC Area List Listers (was - Importing an RS2, can it be done?)

Fellow S-car mourners:

Following up my post last week, quite sadly, it looks like my S6 will be
totaled my the Insurance Company of the impatient driver that turned
left in front of me two long weeks ago. I am starting to consider my
options, one of which is looking for another S6. I have located one just
outside of NYC that sounds interesting: it is in Thornwood, NY. I
understand that this is commuting distance from Manhattan. Is there
anyone close to this car that would be willing to have a look for me?
Given a good report I would then fly up to see the car for myself.

Anyone interested? The favor would be much appreciated.....

BTW: for the authors of the flood of sympathetic replys last week: My
interior color is Ecru, the taillights are fine, the motor still runs,
no radiator damage. 3" exhaust is fine......thanks for the concern, yeah
right....;)
