Aaron,
this is typical. Our cars have two thermostat options. Yours (and mine)
came with a colder thermostat. Makes the car never warm up. It really
sucks in the winter. I complained to the dealer and he replaced the
thermostat with a hotter 87°C one. No problem since. The operating
temperature is now 90°C, rock solid. The car warms up quickly too.
