 From your description, the only piece broken is the electrical switch.
This is around $25 at the dealer.

My switch and tumbler recently broke in my 90Q20V, and it is very
similar to the S4/6.  Be glad, be VERY VERY glad that the tumbler is
not broken.  If it is, you will have to get a used one because the new
ones from the dealer are not interchangeable and they will NOT key it
for your existing key...  I got an old tumbler from the junkyard,
disassembled it to remove the metal tab that connects to the switch
(the tab is made poorly and can break off), replaced the broken tab in
my existing tumbler, and then reassembled it all.  Very time consuming
and requires a couple of special tools.

Anyhow, for you to fix your switch, it isn't bad:

1) Remove Instrument Cluster, Airbag, and Steering Wheel.  NOTE: If you
are very very nimble, you may be able to do it without removing the
steering wheel.  If the tumbler is broken, you have no choice.
2) Look down at the backside of the lock assembly.  Remove the
electrical connector from the switch.
3) There are two painted screws, use a small flathead screwdriver to
remove the from each side.
4) Now, slide the ignition switch towards the firewall and remove it
from the tumbler/steering lock assembly.
5) Slide new switch in (you should have the switch and the tumbler both
in the OFF position to line them up)
6) Put the two screws back in
7) Connect the plug to the switch
8) Test it out
9) Put the IC, Steering wheel, and airbag back in.
