Dan,

Best schtuff to use to remove without damaging paint is 3M Adhesive Remover
(available at most auto parts stores in black rectangular can).  We used
this schtuff back in my stealership days all the time (or should I say the
porters used this schtuff all the time).

As to the replacement badge...I can't help you.
