Hi Dan,

I've had luck using acetone... but that was on older car. It definitely
didn't do anything noticeable to the paint, but I wasn't too worried about
either! ;) The acetone will dissolve the remnants of your 'S' badge pretty
quickly... wash it off with normal soap and water after.

I would try some on your paint somewhere where no one would notice first
(inside the trunk somewhere ... whatever). If you can't get pure acetone,
you could probably use nail polish remover.

Well, it's going to be one of those days.  During the night, some punk-ass
decided to steal the 'S' badge off the rear trunk lid.  I am now left with a
mess of black glue (or double sided tape - whichever they used originally).
Anyone have a solution for getting this stuff off without damaging the
paint?  And are there any places besides the stealership that these badges
can be purchased?
