Or you can go to your local body shop supply place and buy a small bit for a
hand drill that 3M makes. It makes quick work of old foam/glue. If you ask
the guy at the counter I'm sure He will know what it is.

I purchased a 200mL bottle of a product called "Goo Gone" from my local
Canadian Tire (~$5) to remove the rear badge and some other stickers off my
car. It takes some patience, but the product softens the adhesive and you
can
slowly peel the remaining goo off the car. It takes the wax off but not
paint.
Just put a paper towel on the bumper as the product is water-like and runs
just as easily. It also does wonders with tar and brake dust crud on your
wheels.
