[s-cars] Question from a Chip Newbie

Evening Gentlemen,

As I almost never do... I was contemplating my upgrade path and wondered
this:

I'd like to chip my car as funds become available before I install a new
turbo and manifold.  Then I'd like to update the software after the new
turbo and manifold are purchased (and then probably again after injectors,
fuel pump, etc, etc.) to take advantage of the new hardware.

Am I correct in assuming there needs to be a software update w/ a new turbo?
How do you go about this process (especially via Fed Ex) and what does the
tuner need to know about the turbo (is simply knowing kkk/Garrett hybrid or
RS2 enough?)?  I really like the idea of a Wetterauer chip w/their socket if
I need to keep pulling the ECU but like MTM for their reputation and wide
product support... save chip choice for the archives, I suppose.

Finally, I've seen much talk about ASW and Lehmann chips, but cannot find
where to procure them, any links someone can supply me with?
