Thanks to Bob Pastore who helped me correctly identify the Euro S4 front
brakes on my 93 S4.
I bought the car from a broker with no history. I knew the car had been
modified as it has yellow Bilsteins, lowering springs, SS brakelines, Euro S4
steering wheel, etc. I am also certain it is chipped as it runs very well.
The Euro brakes perked my interest into what other mod's it may have.
I looked at the exhaust manifold last night and tried to compare it with the
picture I printed off from the UrS4 site, which shows both manifolds. The
picture shows the RS2 manifold with machined flanges at the mounting
locations to the head. My exhaust manifold has the machined flanges as well.
That was about all I could tell from the picture. Do the machined flanges
signify an RS2 manifold or is there another way to verify the RS2 manifold?
Relative to the turbo, there is a part number cast into the cold side
housing, if I post the number can you guys tell me what turbo I may have?, or
is there a better/different way to identify the turbo?
TIA,
Richard
