Another observation Bob wrt the RS2 MAF and RS2 FI swap
Before the swap my S4 tend to take 1-1.5 sec of cranking before the
engine run. Now (5-6 start) my S4 engine turns on almost instantly. It
is like the MAF is responding much faster than before.
The other thing is that, with the stock MAF and FI (w/Hoppen 3Bar PT,
RS2 turbo, RS2 IM and RS2 ex cam), there is a more off and on feel
during boost. After the swap, the power delivery is more linear. One
other noticeable observation is also the boost (from the stock digital
boost gauge) definitely rise faster.
I am starting to think that a lot of them are probably because my stock
MAF is starting to go to the parts "heaven".
FYI, I am using 93.5 octane gas (mix of 91 octane CA gas and 100 octane
76 race gas)
