Yeah i didn't make myself clear or maybe I was just
wrong but what meant was........   W/o the grease the
POS may run hot.
 I believe that old Suburban got the POS (HEI GM) too
hot causing the miss under load.

Gap Pad?   Don't know of that.  There is no air gap
behind the POS on the S4/6  if you are refering to
something like that.  Explain please.
