When the temperature drops boost pressure is decreased ... haven't quite
figured out why with the exception that Audi may be trying to limit torque to
increase the reliability of the drive train. In hot weather at sea level I
get 2.1 - 2.2 (if I have stock selected) and on very cold days 1.9 bar. The
Bentley CD and or Manual has the desired readings in it and indeed it does
drop as temperature drops. I don't have it handy but I will look it up when I
get a chance. If you check engine is not coming on you probably won't get any
codes. If it comes on intermittently you will probably need to pull the code
before shutting down the engine
