While we're all chipping in,
My best alignment experiences have been with the Firestone chain. If you look hard enough, you can get lifetime alignment for $79-139. Then you can have (re)alignments done for free anywhere in the country at any Firestone store (or related partner store like Expert Tire). This paid for itself many times over for my Subaru Legacy, especially for the period of time I was living in Flint. Even the time when I curbed the car, I took it in, and the labor to fix the alignment was free, they had to charge me for the eccentric strut bolts they had to put in to get it lined back up right though! (Had to buy two new steel wheels too!)

I think my local dealer charges around 1/2 that -- $99 -- and the place that
actually DOES the alignment charges about $69 for a four wheel alignment, and
they supply before and after measurements.
