Joern -

I'm still experimenting with yet another front mounted IC. The several
previous versions I have had done (now on Rod & Hap's cars, and on my Green
car) use all used @ 10" tall x 24" long cores, although core thickness has
varied from @ 3.75" to 4.5" more or less. In all of the previous cores
however, the "intake" side from the turbo has been positioned to enter the
IC at a 90 degree angle to the face of the core.

On the "new" core that's just been welded up, but is not yet ready to try to
install (photo attached), we are going to try more of a direct, side to side
entry / exit pattern. In looking at the photo links posted up by Keith
Maddock, I had a couple of questions:

1.  I'm assuming your 10"x 22"x 4" covers just the IC Core dimensions;
2. If that's the case, can you provide an idea of the two end tank
dimensions & what they add to the overall length of the IC on top & bottom?
3. On the core we've just done up you will note the inlet & outlet feeds on
both ends have been angled back at about 18 to 20 degrees. This is to
better fit the IC within the sweeping curve of the bumper on the UrS4/6 the
IC is intended for. I can't tell for sure from the photo links that have
been posted to your IC install if your tanks have also been angled or not.

Thanks,
Michael Pederson

PS - Keith maybe you have a way to link, or post the attached photos for
list general access?
