NTB is National Tire &Battery but NTB is the actual name-a chain bought
by Sears a few years ago. I had not considered them because I thought
Sears probably turned them into another low-quality volume dealer.
I made an appointment yesterday and got everything back in spec for
$59.95. Great customer service. Quality will take longer to assess
since the suspension is all new.
I know there is something to be gained from the Audi trained wrench
doing the job, but the added cost couldn't justify it to me. The local
dealer is a Porsche/Audi/VW/Jag dealer in the same location, so any
free mechanic might do the alignment. Besides, an Audi trained wrench
replaced the suspension. If I had done all the work, perhaps a second
opinion would have been warranted:-)
