schedule?

Premium fuel is a good idea, the tranny oil has a special additive from the
factory that is unobtanium - your new oil won't have it, does it matter? Who
knows?. The oil change schedule is the one I use with Mobil 1, the manual
says every 12,000 km (~7000 miles).

>2. Should I go for the OEM 6 disc or the 10 disc changer? Where is a good
>place to get one?

The 6 disc changer is OEM for the S6. The 10 disc came with the S4. AFAIK
they have different connectors, so the 10 won't be plug & play in your S6.
Check E-bay, the marketplace at www.audifans.com , your local dealer.

>3. The cigarette lighter illumination near the handbrake is out. How do I
>access the bulb?

Sorry, mine still works - I've never had this apart.

>4. I am interested in a headlight upgrade. Which is more effective HID
>capsules and ballasts or eurolights?

You have four options for light upgrades in order of increasing cost:
	1. Your DOT lights with HID low beam retrofits (~$500).
	2. Euro lights (~$700)
	3. Euro lights with HID low beam retrofits (~$1200)
	4. Euro HID lights (a European option on the UrS4 & UrS6 - ~$2000).

The type of driving you do (and how much money you have to blow) will
determine your best option.
Options 1,3&4 greatly increase low beam performance - good for a lot of
suburban type driving. Option 2 doesn't increase low beam performance
significantly over what you've got unless you increase the bulb wattage,
which in turn can melt the plastic reflector in the low beam projector.
Options 2,3&4 significantly improve the high beam performance, particularly
if you run high wattage H1 bulbs in the high beam. This is good for a lot of
highway driving in rural areas. Note that the advantage of Euro over DOT
lights is that higher wattage bulbs are available for the Euro lights. If
these bulbs are used, you have to relay them or you will fry the OEM
headlight switch, dimmer switch, and /or the headlight wiring.
Personally, I'm using Option 3 in my UrS4 with relayed 100w bulbs in the
high beams.

>5. Are there any particulars about driving a turbo car that I should pay
>attention to?

Watch your wallet as the desire for "go-fast" goodies grows. Headlights are
just the start - next it's big brakes, ECU chips, RS2 turbos & manifold -
there's no end to it. To avoid this maelstrom, don't read any of the posts
by guys named Hap, Rod, Mike, or John :o)

>Thanks for your insight.
