Nick--
As others have mentioned -- 386 is the battery # -- available most
anywhere small round batteries are sold. The key is a dealer only item,
of course. Somewhere north of $100. On top of that, the key needs to be
laser cut. Your dealer may or may not be able to do this.
Bob -
If all else fails in programming your IR remote, disconnect the battery
for a while (assuming you have your radio code). This is pretty much the
same idea as rebooting your PC. Noone can explain why it works, it just
seems to in most cases. It will also teach your car that you hold the
power of light and dark and, therefore, must be one of the fabled Audi
gods. :-)
