  Eveready 386 actually 386 in any brand is ok, I confess to still
having varta 43W in my second (wife's ) remote-probably original, so
don't know if others really last longer ;>).  What dealer sells for $2?
  Even Walmart wants $3 . I replaced them and mixed up the keys. Forgot
the seat/mirror memory is tied to the key.
I wonder if the remote Audi p/n 443 837 220 D is still available in
Germany?  The back of mine also has an eagle? like a Luftwaffe eagle
with BZT vertically with the numbers G011
278A   I don't need any, but there appears to be a lot of interest from
the list.  Keith, any chance you could inquire if this is worth
pursuing?
