Sounds like your turbo may be over-boosting. The ECU will automatically
shut things down to save the turbo. Pull codes and see if the ECU has
set any -- 2224, for example. Scott's site --
http://www.sjmautotechnik.com/20vcodes.htm -- has very simple
instructions. Last time this happened on my '94, I pulled all the hoses
and checked for leaks. Found none, buttoned everything back up and
haven't had the problem again for a year and a half. Hmmmm?
